SapLogon don't open after update from SAP Installation Server

Hi experts...

I use SAP Installation Server for update sapgui clients... but in this time i try update these Products:

SAP GUI for Windows 7.10 - Patch level 13 ---> Patch level 18

BW 3.5 Add-On - Patch level 5 ---> Patch level 9

Business Explorer - Patch level 901 ---> Patch level 1201

Engineering Client Viewer 6.0 - Patch level 3 ---> Patch level 6

KW Add-On for SAP GUI 7.10 - Patch level 5 ---> Patch level 6

The update finished without problems and after restart client i try open SAPLOGON but this don't open...

I think this is because the client installation is corrupted and i fix this to the reinstall the sapgui, but my question is...

What is the cause for this? ... and what is the best way to solve this?

Please check using TaskManager whether there is still a SAPLogon running. Sometimes the visible window closes but the SAPLogon does not and hence the files don't get updated because they are in use.

Hello Markus, Thanks for your answer

I performed tests with your recommendation but when the saplogon is open when the installation is running just need to reboot to apply changes...but in doing so i noticed that some files were corrupted on the server.

To solve my problem I reinstalling the console and apply the patches again.
