Delete the dialog step or application statistics file

Hi ,

i am working in pi7.0.For deleting the dialog step or application statistics file i have to use tcode sto3n manuly.Is there any alternative to avoid this manual activity.Because when XI upload data there is generation of dialog step or application statistics file name as STAT and ASTAT frequently and we have only 10 GB space for this mount point.There is any script or background job to delete all these files.

Please suggest.

Hello

As per SAP note 6833, you can delete the stat file but you need to be carefull to process the data in the file before delete them. Please check your parameter stat/level in transaction RZ11 before create it, finaly please read attached SAP Note 16513, it contains some information regarding what to do in case of file system full.
