Material Activation Error

Hi all,

Here i have one material which is not active in my production system. But without active this material i can done MIGO with quality check. Now i can't see this material in Quality because this material is not active.

But now when i go for active this material this time error give like " Stock must be 0 for active this material in Quality " so now how can i done with out make any reverse .

Please kindly tell me the procedure for active this material .

Hi.

You can try activating the inspection type with transaction QA08, forcing the activation.

Hi,

Try with Sujit suggesion or do 102 movement.,then activate inspection type .

Again do MIGO.

Hey

whole material is not active or only QM view not active in Production System.

If its matter of activating only QM view then try to explore t code QA08 & active inspection type despite of stock.This creates the 0800 inspection type lot.Then take UD of this lot.

But if material is not active then only way is to reverse the GR or Post the stock against any order like sales order or create any temp order which will post the stock in "on Order stock" in MMBE
