Class characteristic assigning to MIC

HI Friends,

I am getting the following error message when i am trying to assign a class characteristic to the MIC

The class char. and the master inspection char. are not compatible

Message no. QS081

What i need to look on ?

If MIC is Qualitative then class char must be "Char" type

If MIC is Quantitative then class char must be "numeric" type

Hi Sujit ,

My characteristic is Numeric type with 2 decimal places and 5 Number of chars

I am trying to assign the characteristic to a an MIC with Quantitative characteristic

Check UoM,

MIC control indicators - Required checked

U have to compare each one

or else give details of setting in Gen. char and MIC

I unchecked the upper and lower spec from control indicators and the error disappeared
