Grouping Inputfields

Hello,

I have to group Inputfields for start and enddate for a planning horizon. After entering an enddate that is before the selected startdate both fields should be marked and only one error message should be displayed.

How can I realize this?

When you report an error you have the option to pass the element that should be reported, you can also report multiple attributes of that element.

The standard messaging interface - IF_WD_MESSAGE_MANAGER has amongst others, method REPORT_ELEMENT_T100_MESSAGE which has input parameters ELEMENT and ATTRIBUTES, where ATTRIBUTES is a string table.

If you use this method to create your message and pass in the element and the names of the related attributes, both fields will highlight with the same error message.
