Restore of SAP Backup

Hi,

I have taken backup using DB13 in unix platform , and i want to restore it on different machine on windows,

please suggest how can i do that.

I could not found any restore option in DB13.

use brtools -> backup and restore and select restore type.

You can't do that.... You need to do a heterogeneous system copy.

Hello Irfan,

Please go through to below two links and you will be able to understand how you can go for it. One way is from BRTOOLS and other way is through DB level and you should be clear about whats going on in DB level even you are using BRTOOLs.

Help for how to setup your SAP system and what you need to do with BRTOOLS.

You can't restore from DB13.

You need to use BRTOOLS (BRRESTORE/BRRECOVER) from OS level.
