Hi,
I'm trying to connect the SAP MII 12.1(installed on the Windows 64-bit) to OSISoft PI, as following way:
1. First, I installed the PI SDK on the SAP MII 12.1 server;
2. Then, I installed the PI_UDS 2.5.0.0 and I did the configurations to OSISoft PI server.
3. So, I configured the SAP UDS Framework 2.5 on the SAP MII 12.1 server too.
Everthing is allright until now, but when I configure on the SAP MII a new connection UDC, setting the following configurations: (IP,port,user,pass*) *The user that I use don't have password)
doesn't work.
Could anybody help me?
Regards!
Hi dear,
I already resolved this problem. It was a problem on Data Server configuration. I was defining a wrong IP address.
Thank all of you.

When you create a UDC connection at the MII server to a UDS, you do not specify a username and password. That is done at the UDS when you create the OSISoft connection.
Can you clarify where you are (MII data server config, UDS admin console, etc) when you experience the failure?
The new PCo 2.1 has a native OSISoft connector, and will run on the 64 bit platform. I believe that OSISoft has different API interfaces for 32 and 64 bit operating systems.

Do you think Windows 64bit vs. PI UDS 2.5 Win32 is making a difference?
