Plant to be automatically picked up with Sales Office in Sales Order

Hi.... I have a requirement in which the plant should be automatically determined when the sales office is entered in the sales order. There is one to one relationship between Sales Office and Plant.....Pls help Thanks

Do you mean to say that one customer will have multiple sales office. Ideally speaking, one sales force (sales office) will take care of a particular customers' requirements. This means, you should have assigned one sales office in customer master in which case, you can also maintain the delivering plant in customer master.

With this assignment, system will automatically populate both these data in sale order.

Alternatitively, you can also maintain the delivering plant either in Customer Info Record (VD51) or in material master (MM01).

Plant determination has such sequence:

1. Take it from customer-material info record if it exists.

2. Take it from customer master if it exists.

3. Take it from material master data if it exists.

1 (customer-material infor record) has the highest priority.

Normally, in sales order sales office is taken from customer master data.

If you always use this default sales office, you can also set a default plant for this cusotmer.

If you want change sales office in sales order and have plant changed correspondingly, you have to develop your own logic in userexit in MV45AFZZ.
