Unable to clear stock in Quality Inspection

Hi All,

Few parts are in QI but we are not able to clear those parts. For those part we cannot find any open characteristic when viewed thru QE51, but when trying to give UD there is error ' Characteristic Open for the material".

We have checked the Material Master, Quality Info record and Inspection plan for those materials but could not find any problem.

Kindly guide what can be the reason for the characteristic not appearing during result recording(QE51).

First check what is the status of the inspection lot.It should not be CRTD.

It must be REL

Second thing check whether Task list is attached or not.

While Taking UD sometimes if char are not closed system give the warning regarding the Open char.Means you have to do the Result Recording & close all the char.

This is just warning ,Ignoring the same can allow you to do UD.

Hi,

Result recording is not done as we cannot find any open characteristic in QE51 though the lot is non skip. System Status shows - REL CALC SPRQ PRII QLCH. We not able to give UD as Error message show characteristic still open.

Please Help.

Have you used any User Status profile?

Also Check its error msg or its only warning

Hi ,

Please check the follwing as well.

1. Any characteristic in QE51N is a long term characteristic ?

2. All characteristics show a green tick in the valuated inspection lot?

3. As said above if its a warning message ignore and proceed,or you could do a forced inspection completion

4. If your MIC's are having a class characteristic-MIC relation,check this link is correct( IF its batch managed material and class characteristic assigned to a MIC)

5.If all fine above, unlock the results recording and redo the valuation in QE51N

Please check result record has been done or not .

Also close all MIC after result record in result record screen.
