copy controles

Hi all SD Guru's,

My question is in what situation we are using copy controles process and what is the importence of copy controles in SAP SD?

please let me know the answer.

In simple sentence, you cannot even create a sale order without having proper copy controls. Please make it as a habit that rather posting such generic questions, please post to specific issues. Search the forum for any generic questions.
