Hi,

I am a newbie in BO. Can i know what is the best practice to create joins in universe. I mean when you insert tables ,should joins be created automatically or manually. Also the same question for resolving loops.

Hi Kris, after adding a new table or tables to a universe, you can create the necessary joins manually in the Universe Designer. When loops occur (which is expected), you can resolve it by either using context or alias. You can read the following blog for more detailed information...

You should create joins manually (Assuming you as universe developer are well aware of the data model being used)
