Dear all,

Before going to configue Earlywatch setup ,any think else i have to check or configure in the satelitte (Prod) system .

Kindly suggest .

Dear Satheesh,

There is a programme that will tell you all prequistee of EWA name like RTCCTOOL.

I did not exactly remember the prg name.

Execute this prg will tell all preq in satellite system.

As I think main prequistes are ST-PI and ST-AP/I addon and activation of SDCCN.

i have run this RTCCTOOL report on satelitte system and i have implemented except Collectors and TCOLL .

pls check the log for Collectors and TCOLL.

Hello Satheesh, Patch your solman and satellite with latest ST PI and ST API components

Once done please add your satellite system in SMSY(in solution manager system)

this will configure 4 RFC destinations then you can configure/activate from SDCCN.

then you can schedule maintenance package session on your satelitte system.

Hope it helps you in generating EWA report.

Hello,

Yes you should run RTCCTOOL from both systems. This will ensure that you have the latest versions.

Yes , DB is Standalone Server - Cluster .

I have checked os07 ,its shows CPU and Memory usuages values . let me know now i can get EWA report ?

Hi Satesh,

There are many steps that are required on the satellite system, such as RTCCTOOL, setting up the RFCs, activating and configuring SDCCN etc.

It is best for you to review all the required steps using either http://help.sap.com - Solution Manager - Solution Monitoring - EarlyWatch Alerts or SAP Note 1257308.
