Connection lost during minutes

Hello,

thanks in advance for your replies

the problem is that we lost the connection during some minutes with the server .The ping is right but we are not able to login to

the server or open SAP sessions.

could youy help me please

What was the resolution for this issue. I'm getting the same errors in the SM21 log, but have not had any user complaints.

Dump the details from dev_w0 under /usr/sap/SID/DVEBMGS*/work/

If you're not able to logon to the server is not a SAP problem... its most likely a problem with your network.

If the host was unavailable then the problem was in the host... whats the OS?

AIX

and in sm21 i found

You said that you couldn't reach the server (presume via telnet) during the issue right?

Run errpt -a to check for any problem in the AIX side.

when i tape this command in AIX i got :

UNABLE TO ALLOCATE SPACE IN FILE SYSTEM

Seems like one of your filesystems is full... check which one using df -k

Actually... I think means that someone try adding extra space to a filesystem and it failed for some reason.

Have a chat with your OS people
