EBCIDIC to ASCII or Mainframe to PI

I am trying to get a file from mainframe to PI using regular file adapter using FTP protocol. But I am getting the following error:

-size 0 bytes with QoS EO

-Returning to application. Exception: com.sap.engine.interfaces.messaging.api.exception.MessagingException: Premature end of file

Any advise please would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Srujanks,

you can force the Communiction Channel "do not process empty files" with a checking the corresponding box.

If you open the file in the source directory can you see the complete message structure (along with payload)? Are you using FCC?

The error message indicates that the file received in XI/ PI is not complete.
