Dear All,
I am trying to assign a source of supply to the SHC from sourcing, First shopping cart in the system being used in sourcing
While trying to do, I am getting the following error.
Reqistion 1000000232 cannot be opened in edit mode
Kindly advise, which authorization could be missing or any settings to be done.
Pls aslo let me know how to take su53 screen shot from backend, when we get the error in srm web.

Is this a standard message?
Is there any user who is editing this SC?
go to tr:bbp_pd, put sc number inside, you will have an overview for SC status.
Check tr:sm13, sm12, whether have any update error or lock entry for this SC.
Normally execute tr:su53 directly after the authorization error occured, you will see the authorization
check details.
Set breakpoint via debugging at statement: authority-check, this is helpful as well if you know it's an authority checking issue.

Lauren

Hello,
I am not sure if it is related to authorization roles.
When an object is opened in edit mode, the same object cannot be opened in edit mode at another session, which would avoid the inconsistencies in the document.
Kind regards,
Ricardo
