DO NOT SKIP

I am not a QM specialist...in fact I do know very little about QM....

SO I apologize if my question is trivial......but I need an answer please....

All of our Materials are subject to QC when coming in.

But some of the inspection rules created call for SKIPPING inspection on certain lots when received.

Now here is my question :

How can I force inspection all the time on these same materials when they are received as a Return from a Customer?

In other words, How to avoid the Inspection Rules that SKIPP sometimes based on QM rules?

We want the SKIP rule to apply when we receive from a SUPPLIER, but

We never want the SKIP rule to apply when we receive at RETURN from a customer.

And this for the same material.

Can this be configured in QM? Based on order Type? Based on something else?

Are you using the same Inspection type that is 01.

I presume that you are not using same Inspection type for the material when its return.

If not then its simple.Create differnet task lists.

Like for normal inspection apply SKIP & for return material system will pick up the different task list with different Usage.
