CIF error " Product does not exist"

Hi,

I am getting CIF error " Product does not exist"

-These queues are APO Inbound CIF queue

-This has been observed only for sales order queues

-In CQ manager error log says

Customer requirement G 0010379697 000030 0001: Schedule line intended for update

Product does not exist

Customer requirement G 0010379697 000030 0001: Error during update; see preceding message

Message no. /SAPAPO/SALES502

Diagnosis

An error occurred during the update of a customer requirement in SAP APO. You can find information about this error in the previous message in the application log.

System Response

The qRFC LUW with this data change acquires the status SYSFAIL. The update in SAP APO is terminated. The data change is not adopted in SAP APO.

-When we check material location of cif queues it exist in ECC and also in APO.

Action taken from our side is:-

-Delete CIF queues to avoid further blockage

-Run CCR

In I am getting error code 236 and it says " Not in APO" & Once we push to APO , it goes successfully.

I am not able to find exact root cause of this issue...has anyone encounter such issue

Hi,

Please check the exact time of the product master creation and time of the error of queue.

We had observed this problem a few times, if the CIF job for products IM is running just before the transaction data.

Hi Samir,

Were you able to fix this? I am also facing same issue in one of our test systems. Once the SYSFAIL queues are deleted, and CCR is executed, the queues get pushed through.

Hi ,

Try report RAPOKZFX in ECC for the material and Plant.

In T code CFC9, you should have setting " 2 BTE Transfer, Immediately" for Material Master Change Transfer

Thanks for you response. Just to update that this issue we are experiencing is for existing product and we do not have any change or modification to this product.

Hi Samir,

Can you check in MM03 if there were any changes after the last update date of the specific product-location as per APO? It is very likely.

Anyway, please check in /SAPAPO/CPP whether any entry for the product is existing, and clear those ones. After this, do a RIMODINI for the material master. Kindly let us know if this solves your problem.

Hi,

As mentioned in earlier comments, there is no change in material master. we do not use CIF post porcessing.

Any other thoughts.

Hi Samir,

You are saying that you are getting the message "product does not exist" but you are not seeing the product# in the message; are you?

This can some time happen when you are having other materials in sales order that are not relevant for APO.

What the system does is it sends data in packets. So even if one of them is stuck, the every order int he packet is stuck.

In CCR, you are processing each order separately and so the order does go into APO when you push.

This is still program error. Not sure what Pi you are in but see Note 651732 - Product & does not exist.

Our Pi is 2005_1_700, So this note is not applicable. Let me know if you need more details

just to add we are using ECC and SCM 5.0 ver

Hi,

sometimes queues might be blocked.Again if we activate the queue then material can be seen.
