Hi,
We wish to use the field STCUR as part of a calculation in a query. However we are finding that the field always reads 1,00000 no matter if the sales document currency is different from the sales organisation statistical currency.
Does anybody know why this might be the case, and if so how we might update the STCUR?
Regards
Paul

The issue may lie in how you maintained the Exchange rate and the Translation ratios for the required Exchange rate type, mostly M-Standard translation at average rate.
Check the following Config activities:Path
1) SPRO/IMG/SAP NetWeaver/General Settings/Currencies/Define Translation Ratios for Currency Translation
2) SPRO/IMG/SAP NetWeaver/General Settings/Currencies/Enter Exchange Rates
For whatever worth it is, take a look at the following OSS notes which kind of explain how the translation between various types of currencies (Local/Document/Statistical) work.
1035594 - Currency conversion of statistical values
1035003 - Wrong exchange rate type for curr transltn to statistcs curr
Hope this helps. Let me know.

Hello Paul;
Please take a look in note 22781. Here, is described the function of this structure.
In RV_INVOICE_HEAD_MAINTAIN in USEREXIT_EXCHANGE_RATE_TYPE
you would have to update/modify the VBRP by your own.
That is the reason why the ERP development would not change the
behaviour here for the standard.
The RV_INVOICE_HEAD_MAINTAIN is only designed for changes on VBRK !
I hope it can help you.
