Need help to configure additional functionality in GRC virsa 5.1

Dear Gurus,

I am new to GRC,Can someone help me with the exact steps to perfrom the below configuration or guide me to some notes/links/guides .

We have Virsa 5.1 version.

1. Auto E-Mail alert to Conflict/Mitigation Reviewer, which will

facilitate Risk /Mitigation Reviewer to review the transaction

passed by the user.

2. Auto E-Mail Alert to Conflict/Mitigation Reviewer, if the reviewer

has not generated Report through respective Tcode/Action for

monitoring of conflict transactions.

Use SAP GRC 5.1configuration guide, you will have setup ALERTS in SAP GRC CC 5.1

and setup exits to GRC AE 5.1and create a work flow for the scenario and also setup the mail server ( SMTP ) in the configuration tab of SAP GRC AE 5.1

All details are very clear in SAP GRC 5.1 configuration guide

Regarding setting exits you will have to the WSDL tab if its GRC5.1

why dont go for GRC 5.3?

Hi Franklin,

Thanks for the reply and sorry for replying late .I've performed the following steps from the Virsa guide but still Email notifications are not being sent to the risk owner/approvers.

1.Did Java Mail settings in Visual admin,restarted j2ee engine after that.

2.Created the Alert log filename at OS level and assigned 777 permission.

3.Created Alert generation job which runs daily and the job is successfully executing/showing conflicts in the alert monitor but still no email notifications received.

4.Selected the check boxes for the below in Alert notification

Conflicting action

Critical action

Mitigation Monitoring.

What else configuation need to be done? Would appreciate your help .
