CCM catalog Publish

Hi,

We have a problem in publishing the CCM catalog. The error is u2018Error when Indexing the Catalog u2018 and the details are

The following exception was raised:

/CCM/CX_INDEXING_EXCEPTION

The exception occurred at the following point:

Program : CCM/CL_TREX_INDEX_MANAGER====CP

Include : /CCM/CL_TREX_INDEX_MANAGER====CM00M

Line : 383

Property: GV_TREX_ERROR_TEXT

Value: Not supported package size: 262903552 = attributes: 2013

I have checked the TREX size and it is 250 Mbytes, which is lower than the above value.

SAP note 967385 provides the solution of either Increase the Package size on TREX (Recommended Max Package size 300Mbbyes) or Reduce the volume of data sent to TREX RFCServer per index call on

Application level.

We have maintained the below values in our config.

Setting for updating the catalog

Maximum Package Size (in Bytes) for Uploading Catalogs : 4,000,000

Setting for Publishing the catalog:

Package Size : 5000

Specify package size fro Indexing and Optimizing :

Doc per package per Indexing : 1,000,000

Doc per package for Optimising : 1,000,000

I want to reduce the Volume of data sent to TREX and can any one please suggest me the recommended values in the above settings.

It would be much appreciated if some one advise me how should we proceed.

It seems that some configuration within the TREX server needs to be changed. For help on this please create a thread under

the Basis TREX link.

The SRM team would not be able to help with TREX configuration.
