SRM 7.0 Vendor Admin Login ID Creation isssue

HI

We are using SRM 7.0 with EBP & SUS two client landscape.

EP as frontend as it is mandetory for SRM 7.0

We have transferred Vendor from EBP to SUS. With Self registration process , he creates his login ID & Password for himself.

SYstem creates the same in SUS but System doesn't create the same in EP.

We are creating it manually in EP & then only Vendor is able to login to SUS can access, Bids, Auction, PO etc.

How to replicate Login ID & Password from SUS to EP automatically.

Hi,

It depends on your setting for user data store in EP. What is user data store in EP ?

I would use NWBC Browser (NetWeaver Business Client Browser) access without Portals for vendor access.

Hi Masa,

The User store is LDAP where the Vendor does not exist. That is where the entire problem started for us. Even in the NWBC I believe the login is possible only through SSO Tickets and hence I think it may not work for Vendor.

Without Creating the Vendor user ID in LDAP is it possible for the Vendor to login into SUS through any route if not portal? Will the bsp work in isolation without portal in SRM 7.0?

Please suggest.

Hi,

Vendors can call directly SUS BSP or NWBC without Portal. Please test.

We have tried with BS for Bidding, system is calling ABAP screen, when vendor tried to do bidding via BSP login. This ABAP screen (ITS template in ABAP) is not user friendly. So it is not calling ITS screen for vendor bididng via BSP.

So I think BSP vendor login will not work in SRM 7.0. Please clarify.
