Upgrade SolMan 7.0 17 to 7.01 EHP1

Hello, i'm upgrade Solma 7.0 Stack 17 to 7.01 EHP1 in windows 2003 server with Oracle 10.2, when i run:

STARTUP.BAT "jce_policy_zip=c:\java\jce_policy_zip_1.5.zip"

sends the error message: Jul 20, 2010 1:28:19 PM [Error]: java.lang.ExceptionInInitializerError: null

Could you Help me!!!!!!

Hi,

As long as I remember and when I did it EHP1 for Solman it cannot be implemented using EHPI and according to documentation it is still not supported so you should use SAINT for the ABAP stack and JSPM to update Java Stack not the EHPI that you are using.

in the Upgrade seccion the document: Update guide SAP Solution Manager 7.0 EHP1

and follow it, it is very straight forward and you should not have any issue during the upgrade.

Try to do the update until the lattest SP24 for Solman EHP1 so you will have the system up to date.
