Authorizations in SOLAR01/02

Dear all:

Is it possible to restrict authorizations in SOLAR01/02 to certain nodes and certain tabs? For example, user X1 should be able to modify all tabs in node 1.1.1 HR, whereas user X2 should only be able to modify tab Configuration in that node.

I'm not positive but perhaps there is a way.

Security on the object AI_SA_TAB can control what the user can do on a certain tab (read, modify, etc...) and you can restrict changes to nodes to users assigned on the Adminstration tab in SOLAR_PROJECT_ADMIN by checking the checkbox Proj Team Members tab. Perhaps a combination of the two will get you where you want to be.

Try creating a security role for each tab. Assign all of the roles to user 1 and just the configuration tab role to user 2. Then assign both of their users to process 1.1.1 HR on the Administration tab.
