Connectivity Between Universe and Infocube(BW System)

Hi Guys,

Can any one please let me know how to bulid a connection between universe and Infocube(BW).

the recommendation is to leverage the BW query and you can find the details in the documentation for the Universe Designer.

I Need step by step, How to bulid a connection between Universe and Infocube.

I tried so mnay times, it was not successful.

In Designer, go to File > New.

In Universe Parameters window, click on New... under Connection.

Click Next on New Connection Wizard.

Add a name for your connection (I recommend using the technical name of the query/cube).

Select SAP > SAP Business Warehouse > SAP Client

Click next

Add all relevant log in parameters - add all information about your BW environment here.

Assuming you have added the correct information, you will get to a screen which has an expandable list under OLAP Cubes, under which you will see a folder called ($INFOCUBE). Expand this and you will see all your InfoCubes.

Select the cube

Click next

Click Finish
