Problems when a employee is created

Hello everybody,

I'm working with SRM 5.0. We have a strange error when we try to create a employee for a purchasing organization.

To create employees, we use the WEB aplication Manage Employee Data. When we try to create a employee for a purchasing organition always a error appears, it says "Work center data incomplete; enter data in all required fields", but all the required fields have data.

When we create a employee for a company or purchasing group, the error doesn't appears and the employee is created.

Does anyone know what I can do??

Hi Ivan,

For your purchasing organisation have you defined 'address' and 'function' properly in PPOMA_BBP ?

Hi Dinesh,

The address and the function were defined in PPOMA_BBP. We put "company" and "purch. organization" as function.

Hello Bertrand,

I found the error. The problem occures when we try to create employees for any unit (company, purchassing organization or purchasing group) which has a code with only numers.

Do you know how can solve this issue?? because we have to use numeric codes for many units.
