How to check connection to MQ vai JMS.

The host is changed for the MQ server and we have updated all the JMS channels at PI, However all of them fail as saying unable to connec to new host,

How do I check the connection manually from PI to JMS?

Where can I get the detailed log of the same at PI or at MQ?

Hi Satya Kiran,

if you have access to the PI system, you can try pinging the MQ server host.

Make sure that the entry for the new host name is mantained in the hosts file of PI system.

You can check the default trace file created under

/usr/sap/<SID>/DVEBMGS<no.>/j2ee/cluster<no.>/server/log/.

a ping might not really work.

you also need to have the n/w team confirm if the port for the particular server is also opened for communication
