IW31 screen base unit of measure

Dear gurus,

The base unit of measure of the material is defined as HOUR.

I defined new measures in additional data tab as ST.

In IW31 screen after I entered the material, I am not able to change the unit measure of material as ST.

ıT GİVES ERROR AS: "Please enter a unit of time."

How can I fix this?

You can add new units from CUNI tr.code(SPRO>SAP Netweaver>General Settings-->Check units of measurement )

before create the service order, you should have enter material's unit as ST.

This is happening b'coz ST & H are not from same Unit of meas.family.

To do so create a new UoM under unit of measure in tcode CUNI by copying ST and assign S in Unit of meas.family for the new unit.

Hi JP,

I have a slightly related issue... In CUNI I changed the Decimal place from 1 to 2 for HR time UOM. But still I am not able to enter Hour with 2 decimal places in the Service Order. For eg. User requirement is to enter as 1.25Hrs, 1.50Hrs or 1.75Hrs.

I am working on the same requirement as you had.

I changed the decimals to 2 in the CUNI tcode, but still not able to enter 1.25 , 1, 75 in the Service Order.

How did you solve your issue?
