Hello,
While loading the repository we get an error "Error accessing MDM Client Server Socket".
Why is this happening and how can the repository be loaded in such cases?
Thank you....
Hi,
I think the problem is the port that is assigned to repository is used by some other repository.
For this go to the server level node in the console .In the record pane, select the repository record for which you get this error. In the record detail pane, change the property port to some value which is not used by any other repository.Select a value between 2000 to 9999 keeping a difference of 4.
Hope this will help you.
Please update the thread after try this solution.
Thanks,
Sudhanshu

Hi,
Please validate your port number with respect to this repository and make it unique. Also restart your MDM server.
Then again mount it. now try to connect MDM repository with server.
Hope it helps.

Hi,
Just check for Verify Repository->Check for fatal and non-fatal errors. In case if is there try loading repository after verify Repository-->Repair. This should solve your problem.
Also check that you assign distinct port, if there is any other repository already loaded with same Port, so change this repository port before loading. For loading repository, every repository loaded on the same server has distinct port.

Hey,
Please try restarting the MDM server and then connect to Repository.
I used to get issues in connecting to MDM server/Repository but it was corrected after configuring Loopback Adapter.
You can try that as well.
Thanks
Aamir
