Hello,

If this problem only occurs for ONLINE backups then refer to note 948294.

Basically, change the database param "filesystemio_option" from "setall" to "asynch".

Restart the database and rerun an online backup.

Normally 0005 error comes with backup utility/Device.

Just search SDN/Google the error...

Hint: Check your backup urility/Media whether you have suff space or not?

Hi,

read the netbackup SAP integration guide. There is a troubleshooting section,

which describes how to activate and where to find additional trace-files for your platform.

You should have/create a directory

........./netbackup/logs/backint

Check there for additional information. Most likely you'll have DNS configuration issues,

like missing reverse entries. You need both, HOSTA and PTR entries in DNS.
