Enable Http compression for SOAP web services?

Hi,

i have a web service which generates large responses (250k items). Now i want to configure Http compression for the response. The web service have been created with the Netweaver Abap stack.

Edit: Netweaver is 7.0, in the SOAMANAGER there is no menu item to configure the compression.

Hello,

Compression Flag can be setup using transaction SICF for the Web Service. Locate the service in SICF hierarchy and then double-click on the service. In Service Data tab, you will see the Compression field.
