SXMS_ASYNC_EXEC. Msg stuck in Queue

Former Member

Hi All,

We have a JDBC to Proxy Async interface. QoS EO.

Msgs are getting stuck in SAP inbound queue with a green flag.

Could any of you suggest what might be wrong in the interface?

There are other interfaces of similar nature which are running properly.

The error msg in inbound queue shows error at function module SXMS_ASYNC_EXEC.

Thanks,

Ankesh

Hi Ankesh,

check out the XI Communication Channel (Receiver Channel):Did you put there a destination (recommentable)? Can you test that in SM59?

May be the messages stuck because the connectivity was (temporary) down. Then just trigger the first message in SMQ2.

Blog [XI Asynchronous Message Processing: Understanding XI Queues -Part I|http://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/scn/weblogs?blog=/pub/wlg/2957] [original link is broken] [original link is broken] [original link is broken]; explains the behaviour.

goto sxmb_adm in ECC.

use the manage queues option, register and activate all the queues.

This should help.

Thanks Shabarish.

This was my first instinctive reaction. Registerred the queues but still nothing changed.

Also confirmed the QoS to be EO. Queues are of EO in SAP too.

Other interfaces of similar kind are indeed working without getiing stuck anywhere.

check in SM58.

two more things you can do if you have registered and activated the queues are;

1. SM58 - check the log

2. SMQ2 - unlock and activate the stuck queue messages
