SM59 / SSL Client Certificate

Hello,

our customer created in SM59 a rfc connection from sapsystem to an external server.

under the tab "logon & securtiy" the status of the ssl protocol is inactive, therefore the "ssl client certificate" is also NOT choosable and "Default SSL Client Standard") is marked in the Cert. List. (if open the list there are more certifcates shown but they are not active to choose)

Our customer wants that I configure the secure protocol that he can choose a certificate from the SSL Client Certificate List in SM59 / Tab. "Logon & Security".

I`ve found the following profile parameters and want to know if I´m on the right way to solution.

snc/enable = 0 (currently) has to be set in rz11 to value "1" + restart of sap.

Hi,

Did you read the help.sap.com documentation ? It is all well explained there...

In short, you have to install the SAP Cryptolib, to configure SSL and then to create a client SSL certificate in STRUST.

Than you will be able to use it in SM59.
