Hi

I have some MIC for which i need to maintain different UoM

for example. Need to measure Carbon content,

some plan it is in % but for others it will be in ppm

what is the best way.... create 2 different MIC like

C% and Cppm

or If I change the UoM in inspection plan

what is best way to deal this req.

Hi Sami,

Its possible to create one MIC as C% incomplete copy model and assign the same to inspection plan, here

you can change this mic UOM as % for one plan and PPM for another plan.

Note:

1) If you are using these two UOM's (% and PPM) in same plan, system will through error massage ie Chr already used

2) Check for MIC wise analysis, If you are analysing the results based on mtral code it will work for you

Create MIC with same name & different Versions.This will help you to use the same MIC in the task list.

Hi,

Here MIC version is the best soultion and does not carry any probable error while using in the plan. Moreover it will help you analyse the RR data.
