Hello,
I did the following:
- I installed Netweaver Mobile 7.10 on Win 2008 / Max DB
- After installation I applied an update to SPAM Patch 34.
- I defined a QUEUE for upgrade from SP04 to SP10
- I patched the SAP Kernel
- I started the Queue import in spam in background
- After a while my GUI died, and I couldnt log on again
- Max DB log was full so I switched to "writerover mode" and restarted the system
- System is up and running again, I can login, but I cant get spam to start as there are Abap syntax errors everywhere (Dumps)
My Question:
How can I restart the OCS queue from the console using tp?
I suppose thats my only chance on getting things straight again?
Thanks
Matthias

Please check whether the logs are updating or not in tmp and log folders. It might helps you.

Hello Matthias,
In this case it would be best to open a message with SAP as they could clear SPAM using internal commands.
Dont makeany manual manipulations of the buffer or manual tp commands until they have had a chance to analyse the current situation.
Please include the latest alog, ulog and slog of the system
Also, please take a screen-shot of your buffer and attach this,
use o/s command;
tp showbuffer <SID> pf=/usr/sap/trans/bin/TP_DOMAIN_<SID>.PFL tag=spam
when opening the message.
You should also include all the import logs from the package that failed.
e.g. if it was package SAPKB70012
they will be in usr/sap/trans/log and should have the syntax
SAP*B70012.<sid> where * is replaced by a different letter for each
phase of the import. Especially the main import log SAPI.... e.g. SAPIB70012.
With this, they should be able to find exactly what is needed to complete the import.
regards,
Paul

BAIGSA,
thanks for your reply.
But as I said above, transaction SPAM is not working anymore, it is producing dumps.
I need to takle it from the command line using tp I guess?

Matthias
