error in quality

Dear All,

Kindly explain the error qa 495.

When our people post GRN, the error comes while doing the inspection lot.

Please help.

How can I process a lot which has not been created against the GRN ?

While creating GR ,if you try to change the Default stock type ,then this error comes.

you are doing wrong stock posting . you can do stock posting throu QA12 only. becoz lot created automatically in grn.

Message 495: Change the inspection stock of material & in QM only

This message comes when you post he stock with out clearing the lot, so first check the stock weather in Quality or not, if it is in quality go to QA32, give the date range and the material and execute with option all inspection lots, now you can find the lot, give the UD as accept and post the stock from there itself.

BUT THE ACTUAL PROBLEM IS, THE FIRST INSPECTION LOT ITSELF RETURNS THIS ERROR. THERE IS NO PRIOR LOTS.,

Are getting error massage "Change the inspn stock of mtrl xxxx in QM only" check this mtrl master been activated any inspection type. If it is been activated then system will not allows u to post unrestricted during MIGO.
