I want to create 1 big filesystem (100GB) instead of spreading them out to 4 small filesystems with 25GB each.
Is there a way to tell SAPINST to use just sapdata1?
Thanks!

Hello Michael,

For sure .. you will get to a point in SAPINST when installing the database, where you can choose between parameter mode typical and custom.
Select "custom" and after that you get to a screen where you can set a checkbox to "advanced db configuration". Check this box and after that choose "Sapdata directory mapping". Then you can define that only one sapdata should be used.
