Multiple usage decisions for partial quantities in the same inspection lot

We would like to enter multiple usage decisions for partial quantities in the same inspection lot. In other words, if we received 100 pieces into quality inspection and 50 are out of spec, but we are not sure yet if manufacturing wants to reject the 50 or use as is, how can we accept and release the other 50 and hold the non-conformance ones? We want to be able to release the accepted 50 so we don't hold up production while making a decision on the rest of the lot. This may not be standard SAP behavior, but what is the best approach to addressing this scenario? Currently, our system is set up to release the entire lot at once. Any help is appreciated.

Thank you for your suggestions! We decided to carry out the stock placement in quantities (QA11) as needed and enter the UD at the end with the remainder of the quantity to close the lot. Our current process does not include any results recording (spec info) so we are able to work with it this way.

Hi Mindee,

Multiple UD not possible, in your process case tray to explore below things

After receipt of the 100 pcs you will do the inspection as per spec?

If 50pcs are ok (within the spec) post this qty to unrestricted and 50pcs post it into Blocked stock (As this stock not able to issue directly to production and it will help us to put the stock in hold condition)

Based on this u can activate the notification (its useful tool to analyze non conformity) and accordingly take UD

*See for example : If you are accepting the whole qty u ill take ud code as A and Q score 100

if it is partial qty A1 90, if rejected 1

Like this u can explore this scenario I hope it would be help full for u

Bur you can UD & post qty say 50 then again you can do it partial posting aS YOU RELEASED FROM CUSTAMOR.

Partial UD not at all possible.

Partilaosting through same lot can be possible.
