Impact of "EI Items" in Excise invoice

Dear All,

Could you please explain what is the impact of "EI Items" box in the "Excise registration"

In our company, we have maintained it as 2.

While creating Stock Transport Order, single material will be splitted based on the Batch.

Say for example, a material splitted into three Batch item. We are creating Billing as Batch split item only.

In this case, will excise invoice allow us to have 3 Batch split item?

Please let me know the impact of "EI items"

Shows the maximum number of line items that you are allowed to include

in a single outgoingexcise invoice.

Dependencies

This information affects the transactions for creating outgoing excise

invoices for factory sales and for other movements.

This information is used to split the transfer postings' items into

multiple subcontracting challans.
