How to create Alert Rule in SAP ECC 6.0

Hi,

I am sending messages to an SAP ECC 6.0 system from PI.

Now when an error occurs in SAP ECC 6.0, I want to raise an Alert.

I have created hte Alert Category but unable to open the http:<sys>:<port>/rwb link.

Is this link available in SAP ECC 6.0?

If NOT then how do I create alert rule.

alert rules are specific to PI and not ECC

Piyush,

Go to t-code SICF...and check whether the service alertinbox is activated or not. You can find this service in path default_host->sap->bc->bsp->sap.

Try with t-code sxmb_ifr and see whether you are able to go to the Runtime Workbench.
