Hello!

We run SAP on Windows 2003 with MaxDB and have received today 5 errors with the following context:

Runtime Errors DBIF_RSQL_SQL_ERROR

Exception CX_SY_OPEN_SQL_DB

Date and Time 16.07.2010 10:48:51

Short text

SQL error in the database when accessing a table.

What can you do?

Note which actions and input led to the error.

For further help in handling the problem, contact your SAP administrator

.

You can use the ABAP dump analysis transaction ST22 to view and manage

termination messages, in particular for long term reference.

How to correct the error

Database error text........: "Connection down: [1] socket receive error [10054]"

Can some one help us to solve this problem?

Thank you!

This error message means that the peer on the other side (the x_server) did cancel/reset the connection. This may be due to network issues or a switched on firewall that tears down connections.

Thank you very much for your reply!

Actually the short dumps occured on the server with Dialog instance.

So we have one server with DB and SAP and other Server with Dialog instance.

Within SM21 on the Dialog instance we found:

SQL error -10807 occurred; work process in reconnect status

Which log files, network settings should be analyzed in this case?

Thank you very much!
