SNC problem with users containing "u00F1" character

Hello Gurus,

Recently we enabled the SNC connection to our SAP system . We have problems with a user and after several tests, we concluded that system fails verifying user names containing the character "ñ".

Please can someone confirm whether this conclusion is correct. Someone unable to connect to SAP snc user using host names with characters "ñ"?

Are you using a Unicode or Non-Unicode system?

What is the SAP_BASIS / Kernel release of your ABAP system?

What kind of SNC product are you using?

Did you already submit an error report to SAP?

My system is an unicode system with SAP_BASIS 700 patch level 0017.

The snc_gsapi_lib is gx64ntlm.dll version 1.0.7.2

Check your ROUTE permission table for SNC

I think you have an entry wrong in the table.
