DPMON is not working even i given the Proflie path

Hi,

Please help me regrding DPMON.

I given dpmon pf=/usr/sap/SID/profile/SID_DVEBMSGXXX.pfl. but it is working one time only.

If i want to excute once agin DPMON than once agin i have to give path.OS is windows 2003.

any one can help for permanent solution for this. I am very thankful.

Are you executing DPMON other than SIDADM, as said this is completely related to environment variable.

Hi,

It is not possible on windows without giving the profile path for DPMON.

It is possible on unix flavour.

Anyway if you have to do this, then you can create the batch file on windows and provide the complete command in batch file and then whenever required, you can execute the batch file.

Not quite sure since in windows we usually always give the whole path even though we have logged in as sidadm.In unix though it is not required as it would be picked from the environment variables.Thanks.
