Client Copy

Dear Experts,

I have purchased a new SAP server from one of the vendors. I have client 800. I want to create 1 more client 900 by copying this client 800.

Kindly tell me the step by step procedure to do this. Since I am not a basis person, I am stryggling in this.

Hi,

You need to do local client copy.

First you have to create client 900 from transaction SCC4. And then start client copy from SCCL transaction. Please make sure that while doing client copy then no users should be able to login in the source client.

Thanks a lot Sunny!

I created the new client 900 by using SCC4. But I am not able to log onto the new client by using the below details

User Name: SAP*

Password: PASS (or pass)

Kindly help in this regard.

HII,

login to 000 ,sap* with u r system password and then

you need to change the parameter ,login/no_automatic_user_sapstar , change it to 0 .

after that login with your newly created client with sap* and PASS , it will work .
