Business Scenario for Select Sets cross Code Group?

Hi Experts,

In SAP, the selected sets could be created using codes from different code groups within the same catalog type.

When I assign the selected set to the inspection characteristic and use it in the inspection plan, it turns out that only one of the code could be selected.

Normally, I think, selected set would just use the codes withn the same code group. Is there any posssible scenario that use different code groups?

No You can select codes form different code groups also.

Also yes there are limited codes can be attached against a char.So Create a selected set with relevant codes from different code group.
