Is there a way to find the number of users per hour in ECC 6?
Thanks,
- Jackie
Hi,
Not exactly your need but there are 2 interesting standard reports in ECC6.
If you run CCUINIT, you can initialize a measurement of concurrent users and you can decide the time between 2 measurements. The mesurement can last 1 month as maximum time.
Then you can use report CCUEVAL to display the result of the mesurement. By default you will get the 5 top user counts.

Hi,
If the requirement is to get an idea of how much the system is being used, it may be useful to try the CCUINIT and CCUEVAL reports mentioned by Olivier.
I've used these before to give a project manager an idea of how much the system was being used immediately after a go-live. The report can capture the current number of logged on users every few minutes. This can then be evautaed to compare one day to the next (for example, to see how well the business is adopting the new system).

Steve.
Go to SM20 and choose "Dialog Logon" and "Other events"... then select timeframe, You should get a list of all the people that logon and logoff the system.. Take your calculator and enjoy.

Hi,
One way would be monitoring the tcodes SM04/AL08 for every one hour and making the entry. Second way you can check in tcode ST06->Detailed Analysis Menu->Previous 24 Hours->CPU where it will give the percentage of CPU utilization by user for every 1 hour. (But not sure if this could help you as it is for previous 24 hours).
The last option could be try cofiguring in CCMS(RZ20).

What are you talking about ? ST06 and specially the CPU view has nothing to do with SAP users.
The field User% which I guess you're talking about, means percentage of CPU used in Application programs and not in the Operating system (System %).
In my opinion the only way to know the number of users connected each hour would be to write a small specific ABAP report and top schedule it as an hourly job.

Olivier
