Version history Smartform?

Hello experts,

is there a version history for smartforms like for reports, fm´s .... ?

In transaction SMARTFORM i can not find it.

Hi,

I'm afraid of there is no functionality for version of smartforms after release transport request. The only thing can see that is the last edited time.

Hi since there is no version management,

one more option which could prove useful is

download the smartform and keep on desktop

then make any changes to the smartform and if you feel

the changes need to be reverted back

upload the samrtform with same name

after deleting the current one.

You can check the table E071, pass the name of your smartform in OBJ_NAME and then it gives you the requests.

Hello,

Smartforms doesn't have the concept of version management. But you can see the last changed by, date & Time.

Also, if you want you can get the full transport history from the table E071 table. As a hint just pass the E071-Object as 'SSFO' & Object name as your smartform name.

I also recomment you to make a copy of the smartform always before doing any major changes so that in the later stage if any issues happened, you can use this copied version.

Hi,

In form printing either via script or smartform, there is no version managment exists.

In scripts you can have the option to know the language versions with status active inactive.

But in SmartForms .. No luck.. Nothing related to version managment.
