Hi Friends,
Normally we create sales orders in a particular sales organization (Say sales org: X). Then there is a requirement to create another sales order in a different sales organization (Say sales org: Y) by copying the initial order available in X.
In the standard SAP, the system does not allow to create a sales order by copying an order which is created in another sales organization. Can anyone please provide a solution for the above scenario?
Thanks in advance.
Regards
Kanishka
Hi,
I don't know exactly what you need, but, if you just want to copy the itens or propose itens, you can use, besides the suggestion above, this configuration:
Item Proposal:
SPRO -> Sales an Distribution -> Master Data -> Item Proposal.

Dynamic Product Proposal:
SPRO -> Sales an Distribution -> Basic Functions -> Dynamic Product Proposal.

How it is relevant that Sales order one Sales Area(S1) is referred into Sales order another Sales Area (S2)? Can you share your scenario.
If your are talking about copying the content of sales doc, but no reference. You can do that in following way, by standard functionality of PROPOSE ITEM.
In your sales order overview screen for another sales area (S2) go to menu bar - edit - propose items or press CRTL + F11 from keyboard.
In popup screen provide the desired sales order number and click buttons for propose items as per your requirement.
Hope this can assist you.
Thanks & Regards
JP

Good question. I never think if this is possible to create a sales order with reference that belongs to another sales area.
Note sure, but may beu2026 are both sales organizations (X and Y in your example) using the same sales order type? Letu2019s say OR. If it is different then there should be copy control configuration between these two in transaction VTAA.
If you want to copy all the information from sales organization X to Y then the customer must be created in the sales area of sales org Y (otherwise you will get error No sales area could be determined), similar material should be defined for sales org Y. If all the above criteria fulfilled then I think it works.
