NWDS standalone version. Missing functionality

Dear all,

I downloaded and installed SAP NetWeaver 7.1 Composition Environment SP10 PAT0001

After installation I can start it without problems, but it seems to be that some add ons are missing.

The only perspectives I have:

Team synchronizing

Debug

Resource

If I would like to create a new project, there a no subitems (like EJB) I can choose/create.

Do I have to install any additionally add ons?

Hi Christian ,

I guesss , we faced the same issue earlier , The Installation is not complete ... that's one reason , the add on (Eg:Preference menu option , EJB aren't getting displayed).

-SAP NetWeaver 7.1 Composition Environment SP10 PAT0001--Try REL Version

-Minimum, It takes about an hour to install after the extraction of file.You should n't abort the process of Installation

-You need to have Admin rights to your system.

If you still couldn't figure out ,and it is high priority , please contact IT Admin Dept but Iam quite sure its either the Installation was aborted/Not Complete or The File extracted from the Installation Path doesn't contain all the features.

Thanks for your reply.

The problem is solved. It seems that the SAP server was just down yesterday.

Now the connection works without problems and I am able to install the add ons.

I am facing the same issue after installing NWDS.

As Varalakshmi told before you need to update NWDS.

The update is downloading the NWDS functionallity.
