"Create delivery" not allowed (Sys. status Cost,.........)

Hi Folks,

Ours is a MTO environment with VC involved.

When i create a returns delivery, i get the following message

"Create delivery" not allowed (Sys. status Cost, object VB0007215009000010)

Message no. BS051

Diagnosis

The status check for the status object VB0007215009000010 indicated that the procedure "Create delivery" cannot be performed because Sys. status Cost forbids it.

System Response

Procedure "Create delivery" is not performed.

Procedure

If procedure "Create delivery" is to be performed, the Sys. status Cost of object VB0007215009000010 must be reset.

Other statuses than Sys. status Cost can also prevent the procedure. This message does not tell you all statuses which currently prevent procedure "Create delivery".

Also, in the Sales Order Status, i find the following statuses in "obj status" :

REL ( Release) - Checked

CONX (Fix Configuration) - Checked

Cost To Be Costed - Checked

MtoO (Make To Order) - Checked

When i try to do a Sales Order Costing, by Extras -> Costing, with the Costing variant and Transfer Control, it gives an Error

message:

" No posting string can be determined in table T156SC "

Message no. CK180

Diagnosis

The posting string for movement type 651 is missing. The indicators Quantity update und Value updating are set this way: X/X.

System Response

Automatic account determination could be carried out.

Procedure for System Administration

Go into Customizing and check the entries for movement type 651.

Can someone help on this please.

Thanks,

Chandu

Hello Chandu

Try working on Movement type config- OMJJ- 'Update control / WM movement types' part of it: Enter movement type 651 and in the next screen, select the folder Update control / WM movement types on the Left hand side. On the Right hand side, select the appropriate line and double click to see the details. Some filed here is causing the issue. Let me know what do you have there.

What release are you in? It could be due to SAP bug also. Check out these OSS notes applicable to release 4.6C.

486863 - Message CK180 during sales order costing

460320 - Message CK180 when costing subcontracting

Also did you try changing the status manually?

Hope this helps.

If you are using material with serial numbers, Tcode: IQ02 for diagnosis and change the status manually

1) Check the incompletion log in order

2) Check in schedule line tab, whether the quantity is confirmed

Also, refer SAP Note 1283941 or 864693

>No posting string can be determined in table T156SC

>"Create delivery" not allowed (Sys. status Cost, object VB0007215009000010)

Then try, VA02 - Select the Item - select Extras and then Costing option,

Press Enter Materail is been costed.

Select Extra and then Postprocessing

Following message will displayed.

"The cost estimate currently contains errors."

After postprocessing, the cost estimate will be treated as one without errors.

Do you still want to postprocess this cost estimate?

Select- Yes.

Input the missing Cost Element for the Error item/s.

And Save.

Then, you can create the delivery..

>No posting string can be determined in table T156SC

Check sch line cat for M Type for your trnasction

Try updating MType in tcode OMWN

I've tried the firt one earlier, it didn't work.

In OMWN tcode, there are no values maintained for 651 Mvt Type.

I seriously doubt if we need to maintain that.

Thanks
