Not all objects in the request could be locked. Do you want to release...

Greetings,

When trying to release a transport request from the Development system I get the message "Not all objects in the request could be locked. Do you want to release them anyway?"

I see that Arun Varadarajan mentioned in a post [] that "some dependent objects in the transport sre locked under some other request / development class.. check the release log and see which ones are causing this problem".

Can you please advise in detail how to solve this error? Also, what are the ramifications of releasing the transport request as is?

Regards,

Keith

Hi Keith,

Go to SE03 transaction code and unlock the objects which is locked and release the request in SE09

Check Your Package in Object Directory Entry. You must be sending an objects of different package.

Hi,

Check in the logs which all objects are locked and then go to transaction Se03 there check in which transports these objects are locked. Then release those transport then release the transport in which you are getting error.

Thanks

Sunny
